Job Description
- Commercially develop the UK market: target promising prospects and convince them of the added value that InSites Consulting can bring to their business;
- Take up customer account responsibility: be close to the customer and his environment / challenges, undertake appropriate action to exceed customer expectations, and sense commercial opportunities;
- Act as content manager in client projects, provide clients with advanced and relevant marketing recommendations based on the analysis report that has been developed by the analyst / process manager and based on different (combined) research techniques (discussions, surveys and observations);
- Provide guidance and coaching to a growing team of research professionals : apply your executive skills to create and maintain a highly professional and motivated team;
- Share your marketing research- expertise with the rest of the team: be a source of inspiration and actively develop and support internal knowledge transfer;
- Be close to the UK market: understand competitive offers and positioning, seize market opportunities, and actively network via relevant conferences, institutions, and partners.
Essential tasks and responsibilities
- Identifying potential business opportunity/new customers;
- Identifying business opportunities from contacts/networking/industry directories/publications;
- Desk research on potential prospects;
- Using InSites Consulting proprietary sales contact management database to research client history and update contacts;
- Estimating potential and prioritizing activities vs. opportunities;
- Preparing quarterly and annual forecasts for the development territory served;
- Developing a specific plan to pursue the business;
- Outbound proactive contact and follow-up;
- Collect and compile sales data and customer information, needs and ideas;
- Development & delivery of proposals to customer;
- Development of marketing insights and recommendations and present those to customers
Profile
Education & experience
- Masters in econometrics, marketing or marketing research
- Specific know-how in particular marketing domains and/or industries
- 6+ years sales experience with demonstrated success
- 6+ years industry (market research or related information services) experience
- Experience in coaching of people
